When our team comes to your home to purge prior to your move, we will go room to room and organize items into 5 separate categories. The categories include items to keep, sell, donate, recycle, or trash. We have local charities and shelters that accept donationsof all kinds.
This process is best when you are involved to make decisions. We will handle all of the work, while you sit and tell us if an item is a keeper or not.
When going through your belongings, ask yourself a few key questions for each item:

Our team will pack your items as if they are our own. We go the extra mile which includes:
- Creating a custom plan and schedule taylored to your move.
- Ensure that you have all of the packing supplies you need. We have found the best deals on supplies and will share links or stores with you to save you the most money on boxes, bubble wrap, packing paper, packing tape
- Taking photos of how electronics are connected before unplugging to ensure they are properly connected after moving.
- Packing each box by room. Properly labeling the box and including a description of the contents within the box.
- Creating an easy and smooth experience for your movers. We have used several methods in the past such as blue tape on boxes = items to go to storage, and green tape on boxes = items that go to the new home.
- Make recommendations such as having your area rugs cleaned prior to moving so they are returned to you by the cleaners, rolled, wrapped and ready to move.
- Take an inventory of all of the boxes packed and larger items ready to move.
- We will also remind you to change your address through the post office and on your license as well as cancel/update any subscriptions that you may have that go to your current address.
- We can recommend movers we have used previously
- If we are not managing the move on moving day, we will call you within two weeks after you move to ensure you had a flawless moving day!

- Typically, the kitchen is the first area completed. Then we move to bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas then utility areas such as the basement, garage, and attic. We can however, customize a system that works for you.
- We do assemble small furniture. This service is included in the hourly rate.
